Here’s a little video we made right before heading out on the road for our song “Alleycat.” Those killer jellyfish projections are by our friends over at Coral Morphologic (www.coralmorphologic.com). Shout out to Peter Richardson for helping film.
Tonite, if you’re in Miami, this is well worth checking out:
Here’s his website, with archived shows you can listen to if you’re not in Miami: http://www.vangloria.net/pureimagination/
I just found out that there are four volumes in trade paperback collecting the classic run of The New Mutants, written by Chris Claremont, along with some great issues illustrated by Bill Sienkiewicz. This is something I’ve been wondering about for years. Thanks Marvel!
“What does “Take My Broto” mean? And what is a “Broto?”
As a nightlife photographer I am constantly asked by people to take their photos. This is my job. That is what I do. More often than not these requests come from the fairer sex, however, occasionally I am asked by groups of guys to take their photo.
“Hey bro! Take a photo of me and my bros!”
My usual response is curt and to the point, “What am I gonna do with a photo of bros?” Kind of a dick response, but I really had no use for a photo of bros…until now.
TakeMyBroto.com is a blog that is specifically targeted towards the Bros that ask me to take their photos which from now on will be known as “Brotos.”
Jose (DHS/Animal Tropical) and I (MJ) will be playing solo sets at the newly frigid (and comfortable) Sweat Records. Shoot, we might even do some stuff together as well. Looks to be a nice laid back night, and all for the bargain price of nothing.
Where am I?
